(PETERSEN MEDIA)- A big weekend of racing in upstate New York for Carson Macedo sees the California native make a big jump in the All Star Heat Index as his two wins help him move from a tie for fifth to first in our rankings as the series heads into Ohio Speedweek.
Piloting the 3G Motorsports entry for Joe Gaerte and Tim & Cindy Norman, Macedo is hitting his stride heading into the toughest week of the year as he heads into the week as the hottest driver on the circuit.
Chad Kemenah used two podium finishes to move back into second as Aaron Reutzel and Tim Shaffer continue to remain tied and now find themselves back in third.
Another driver who made big moves in this week’s rankings is another California native, Paul McMahan. McMahan used a big win at Outlaw Speedway and a second place finish at Weedsport on Sunday night to make a big jump as he cracks the Top-Five for the first time this season.
A lot of moves are likely to happen during the next nine days as the All Stars are set to tour the Buckeye State in what will certainly be a big week for Rankings changes as well as a big week for the series’ point standings.
