The Dirt Classic Goes ‘Coastal’ with the Calistoga Speedway Boys and Girls of St. Helena and Calistoga Dirt Classic

For the first time, the Dirt Classic brand will be extending to the West Coast with the help of David and Rico Abreu as they host the Calistoga Speedway Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga Dirt Classic.

The event, which will be held on Saturday, June 24, is one of the biggest and most anticipated winged sprint shows at the famed Calistoga Speedway in 2017. It will showcase both the winged 360 sprints in the Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Abreu Vineyards and the 410 sprints in the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Racing Series for two winged sprint car shows in one event.

“We are excited to be working with David and Rico Abreu to extend the Dirt Classic brand across the country,” promoter Jarrod Adams said. “The Abreus are doing a fantastic job of promoting the sport, both through their racing and through their support of local tracks and events. We’re proud to be associated with them.”

Numerous racing stars have pledged to take the green flag in the event, including Abreu, who will race in both sprint car divisions, Tony Stewart and recent Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series winner Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

The winner of the Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Tour event, presented by Abreu Vineyards will earn a staggering $10,000 prize while the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Racing Series event will pay $3,000 to win!
